As for the brews, very nice flashy binding - think you should go for it alisa, also another suggestion - Ride's Beta/Alpha Movement bindings are jaw dropping. Super light with the same aluminum base core just probably 2x lighter than their SPi's.
I've been tossin the idea of a 155-156 all mountain board from Forum or Academy. Things may get interesting this year...real interesting! |
I was tossing arround the idea of a backup board etc, something from rome or salomon or maybe another compatriot ;) |

Here's what I've boiled my choice down to
Academy Merit 155 (hate that crappy red color though)
Academy Rhythm 153 (again red and down 1cm from the range i want)
Endeavor Live 156
Endeavor Next 155**
Forum Roost 155
Forum Destroyer 156midwide
Rome Agent 155
Rome Anthem 156
Rome Design 155**
I really want something from Academy but their colorway is horrible, or atleast not my taste. Endeavor makes some sick boards so does Rome, it's a toss up now I haven't figured it out yet. |

We rented a house in Killington last year where I actually learned to ride. It was incredible. I am definitely looking forward to the trip again this year along with PA on the weekends as well! |

thats cool, was it slope side or just close to the resort?
also brian did you post prices on slopeside condos yet for the VT resorts? |

2-it looks like its gonna be a quick trip - hit it then come back. fly friday ride sat sun fly monday work tuesday - love it!

don't think we've met yet but you are more than welcome to join our "thrill junkie alliance" lol im sure u've seen page 1 with the loads of info there, we'll be organizing trips amongst TAs as well so keep this thread saved...

I'm not a fan of slopeside even though it's convenient. I found that the spaces are a bit more run down and are actually smaller than some of the off resort cabins or lodges.
I think this year in killington I have a friends place he's letting me use so I'm not so sure it's gonna be an all out party for VT. However, I might take trips with bliss/frost to Okemo and that'll be on a whim of the moment type thing.

I agree, slopeside is convenient but you get waaay more for your money if you're willing to drive a bit down the access road.
Where in PA do you ride? I grew up 5 minutes from Shawnee so that was my regular spot before I moved to VT for a couple seasons...
And as for Mt. Hood.... I've never been there in the winter, but I've made numerous summer trips out there in the summer... it's def. an experience I'd recommend to anyone... riding in the summer on a glacier.... :) |
