yeah just checked on weather reports of northstar. not a bad weekend for them, almost two feet! i'm crossing my fingers for a lake effect snowstorm like the one up at oswego |

upwards in the 100s there is a skate park thats always deaded on, i saw a flat box there just adjacent a 6ft quarter for a drop in even though its not downhill enough but close enough to get up on.
sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do when there isn't alot of snow or pre-built parks like they have outwest. one can only wish but you need to make do with what you got... |
ohhh....i thought you built a kicker for a jump. It appears from the post you build the kicker to get up on a rail or whatever. Oh, you definately need less snow in that case. |

Does tahoe get lake effect snow??? i don't think its a real factor in weather for the resorts. But i could be wrong. |

not that i would mind building a kicker just that it'll take a bunch of shovels, water, and salt to get it anywhere near tall enough to take some flight...maybe a 1ft jib to take some fakie approaches lol
i really need to ride more my switch regular is horrible...i can get into it from goofy but i can't ride it nose down like i can goofy...
more mountain days i need more mountain days... |

if the conditions are right, perhaps? lol. it's just wishful thinking :) i don't think tahoe's as big as lake ontario heh |

i was trying switch this past weekend at jack frost. i wasn't doing too bad on toe side, but then my brain/body locked up and i forgot how to do heel side (like back in the falling leaf days) |

Im not exactly sure what that means, but the key to knocking out switch riding is to not revert back when you're practicing. It doesn't take long to perfect when you commit. Just spend one whole day hitting blue trails going switch, you'll have it in no time. |

yea i need a day of riding regular, i meant from goofy i can hop into regular but i sketch out from not riding it enough - its hard to put those actions to words but you've said before...just gotta keep riding regular |

Anyone planning anything local for this Sunday (specifically Sunday lol) with room in the car for one lucky girl...?
Otherwise no snow for me till the first weekend of March (WOW HOLY I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S ALMOST MARCH) when I'll hopefully have my car back (I wrecked it 2 weeks ago)... that would be almost 2 months without boarding.. wow.. ed up season.. yea, you grad school you're cramping my dirrrty style.. |
