my friends rode there said it was a bit weird cuz the parking lot is at the top of the mountain so you start out with a run before you get on the lift...thats kinda nice lol anyways my friend had a huge explorer with tv's in the headrest and a large flip down but came back to find the car had gotten broken into and they stole pretty much everything. his whole system, all his TVs, his headunit, the whole tac and din was taken out, the whole center console, the amp and his subs and even the 5's in the door panel were gone. said it was a clean job cuz they even cut the wires properly....

dont think i'd go back to blue mountain to be honest....

also heard it has a nice park...

wow... total bummer about your friends car...when was that?

As for the lodge, there are two. there's a summit lodge and a base lodge. i've never parked at the summit.

imo, blue has one of the best parks / pipes in eastern pa.

I'm off to killington next week for a the week... i hope it's warmer there next week than this week... (-30 tomorrow / wind chill!!)

for some reason i cant ride VT anymore, it's TOO COLD...even when you're layered up with the proper gear, its cold. i had a down jacket with 2 base layer pants and my grenade pants and my ass still got cold on the lift.

vt is also pretty fast, it's different here on the east, it's hard and fast, out in the west its soft, you can still rip through it just that you have some sort of control...when i was up in vt, you rip down it and you get that noise that makes you cringe...

I went to mountain creek. I got a free creek card because im a firefighter so i get 50% off on the lift ticket. Anyway this was my second time snowboarding. I went on the bunny hills and i was instantly immersed in happines because i could actually slide down for a period of time. After about 20 mins practice, i finally got it. I decided to go on a lift onto a bigger hill. My first time i busted my ass about 5 times from that hill. My second time i did very good, i only fell twice. My last one i was doing exceptionally well until i was facing the mountain and i didnt know what to do. My board caught the ice and sent me tumbling. The thing was that i almost twisted my knee sideways. It was very painfull. Im crippled right now + my ankle is twisted a lil. Overall it was a fun day and i cant wait to go back for more challenege.
