we have good coverage now but we are still significantly below average. resorts will close the end of april this year.
brian - 50 going west towards sierra. you can still get to reno. plus it's cleared by now. it only usually closes for a few hours or a day. |

Heading out to blackcomb saturday, I'll be in Boston tommorrow.
plenty of pics will come I just got me a camera after my old one broke. |

even in the low years, mammoth stays open until at least the middle of may. I think the earliest the resort has closed was in the beginning of may, and that was in a year with less than 200 inches of snow.
The rate it was going it looked like the mountains would be closed by the end of march. If march is as good as february was you'll be back to about normal. |

have fun......i just checked the whistler weather report for the time im going to be there (march 11 - 15), its supposed to snow every day, sunday through thursday....holy ing ...how lucky did i get!!!!! |

Okemo was beautiful this past weekend... looks like they're making up for a ty December with a snowy perfect March. Saturday was a workout because the snow was wet.. took every muscle to make every little turn... but still very very nice especially when it started snowing in the afternoon. Sunday was *perfect* -- snow doesn't get any better than that in the Northeast.
That's it for me the season I guess :( No more time to go this month or next!
Hope kid nyce & company are having a sick time at Tahoe right now... ride drrrty kids |

i was actually at stratton on saturday. had a fantastic time as the snow kept dropping. got wayyy too tired, you're right, the snow was a little sticky. |

you can't stop now!!!!
This is probably the best time of the season in VT. THere are soooo many pluses, no more bitter cold days, soft runs, no lines. The only real downside to late march boarding in vt is the soft landings, but the foregiveness upon busting ass is sometimes well worth the tradeoff.
Plus, MC passholders get a dope discount at stratton. something like 10 dollars for late season lift tickets. |

at the airport finally with an internet connection!
anyways trip was crazyyyyy fun, i got it all!
the bloopers, the stoned dialogs, the riding, the views, and every other recorded minute inbetween. had 3 cameras going so i predict around over 800+ pictures to sift through, and probably about another 40-50 vids to work on.
anyways, enough for now, will update when i'm sane tomorrow since this past week was spent in a haze.
