haha those first pics are from adjustment time the first night.. everyone tryin on gear, there were at least 2-3 pieces of gear being worked on or worn at any given moment from 5pm-midnight -- helmets, bindings (being put on ALL WRONG), wax, goggles, thermals
If I'm a PVD/AVB whore (yeah RIGHT, whatever) then I'll be the first to point out that kid nyce likes to get nice and comfy in his own sweat after a day of riding! "Hygiene is important to me" MY ASS!

have yet to hit whistler, but its definitely on my NEXT-TO-HIT list. It's a toss up between Whistler and Colorado, leaning more towards Whistler tbh

Best place I've ever ridden..
I've only been there in April a few times (I.e. typically spring conditions) but I'm sure you'll have a blast getting some fresh pow pow in January..
please send pics through when you return!! i miss that place!!
btw - how many people are you going with? i ask because there's a shuttle from the airport to whistler (it's over 2 hours if i recall correctly up a single lane windy road).. however, if there's more than a few of you it can actually be cheaper (and far nicer) to rent a limo or a van to take you all.... plus the driver can tell you about the different sites on the way up.. cool way to get some local info on vancouver and the rain forest you drive through.. |

oh man.. i'm so jealous... :)
even the village at the base of the mountain rocks... it's like a small city.. there's dozens of bars / restaurants.. there's even a few clubs. ;)
....it's like stratton on steroids.. the village has the same feel. but x50 in size. |
