conditions in vermont are so sick. they've been getting so much snow the last two, three weekends. i was at mount snow this weekend and i just had a huge smile the entire time. stayed with friends that i hadn't seen in a long time. it was great, i got to lead people down trails; it seriously felt like lemmings, watching them all just follow me blindly :)

The park on whistler was absolutely sick!!!! about 3 30+ step downs, a bunch of 20+ step downs, many smaller jumps, and tons of boxes and rails.
Blackcomb wasn't impressive. But i think they closed most of the features on blackcomb because it rained and then frooze, so the ground was basically all ice for two days. I think its supposed to be warm for the next few days out there, so it'll be a little nicer. |

I just came from whistler, I thought the park on blackcomb was much crazier! Needless to say Whistler was by far the sickest place I ever rode, and the parties were awesome to match. |

Highest level park is definitely the craziest park there, but it was closed all last week because rain made the ground rock hard. I was extremely mad about that. The only park i've been to that compares is mammoth mountain. That park is for real.
Nintendo park (blackcomb) was pretty beat. Habitat terrain park on whistler was sick, although the features aren't nearly as big as highest level. It snowed 8-10 inches on tuesday so the landings were all powder for nearly two days. The only problem was getting enough speed to hit the jumps. Although i didn't spend too much time in the park because i was jumping cornices and cliffs on the peak, symphony, and harmony. |

Coming down from the peak really is the greatest 2 miles of travel ever. It only rained one day when we were there, but snow at the peak. Symphony and Harmony were both powder up to your knees that day. I heard conditions in January were even better.
I've heard the locals around there ride the blackcomb glacier up until august! |

They have snowboard camps on blackcomb glacier, www.campofchampions.com, through the summer. The parks they make at the camp is sick. i heard each year they make 90+ step ups, and several 50+ step downs.
Did you check out the backside of blackcomb (Garibaldi Provincial Park)??? When i went last year i hiked up the ridge on the opposite side of the backside of blackcomb. Lets just say that it was the best rides of my life, and i've been to many many places. It was a pretty steep drop and there was noone in the way. |

sounds amazing man, I haven't touched the glacier this time around maybe next year I will. I heard there is a park that you must sign a waiver before riding, maybe its the same one your talking about.
I am definetaly not at that level of riding yet, or anywhere close. |

you need to sign the waiver for the highest level terrain park. That's the one on blackcomb next to the nintendo park. That's the one i said was closed last week. |

VT is expected to get a foot of snow tonight. This weekend should be nasty. Im hitting up stratton on saturday. Gotta take advantage of the ten dollar Mountain Creek Discount.
Killington probably has 3 decent weekends left.
EDIT: Plus snow showers are possible everyday from today until next monday. Winters holding on a little longer because of the ty Dec. & Jan. |
