Price quoted for 6 adults at a slopeside condo is $84.35/night/person or $90.25/night/person depending on 2/3 bedrooms.
--include lift? maybe cram 8 in 6?

YES, included lift, BUT the point is, those rates are not valid on thanksgiving, hence why I was proposing 1-3 instead but never mind, THANKSGIVING IT IS :D
I will call Stratton and Okemo tomorrow and try to finagle something and ask for definite rates.
We will probably have 6 people, correct?

I am being quoted very good prices of $285-$300 at most per night for standard 2 BR condo with 2 bathrooms at either Okemo or Stratton -- at either place, it's a 5 minute drive to mountain from these condos, which are just off the property or in the village. There is probably one bed in each bedroom + a pull-out sofa but I will try to get 4 beds if possible. In any case, bring sleeping bags, it'll be fun.
Stratton 2-day weekend ticket is $129; Okemo weekend ticket runs $132.
[[TOTAL]] If we have 6 people, total price per person without food and gas will be $225-250.
I am ready to book this tonight if someone says the word......... :crazy:
P.S. Hope it's not 60 degrees in Vermont 2 weeks from now like it is today, otherwise we'll be boarding down the grass... |

lets get 8 and drop the price some. 225-250 base looks like a 350 weekend for me, something i'm not ready for with the amount of thats going on this winter. hell what am i to cry about, just my wallet looks broken and my plastic is melting--it's not even christmas yet crap!

so far i've gotten 2 no's from my group of 3, not looking good on my part but I do have 2-3 other people who might spark interest. |

I'm totally down with 8 or however many as long as people don't mind sleeping on the floor (I don't), unfortunately it's up to you guys to find people cause I have nobody in mind.
If we see we have fewer we'll look into motels. Condo is cheapest option for a group of 6+ though. |
