My team still sucked.

Look on the bright side, Ghana could barely keep it together. One can only wonder what the coach said to rile Boateng up like that :(

I hope Belgium is gonna play awesome.

Edit: well, I'm switching to the other match...

Justice! Suarez gets 4 month ban and 100,000CHF fine from FIFA. Largest penalty for any player in FIFA history.

The biter's world cup is over as of this morning.

He cannot play in any match until October, and will miss at least 9 premiership matches.

His sponsor 888poker, whose $75m dollar deal with him put him in to the top 10 highest paid footballers list, announced yesterday before the decision, that they were "reviewing their relationship with him and we will not tolerate unsporting behavior".

888poker have not made a statement since FIFA ruled today, but by all accounts it looks like Suarez will make history as having the shortest sponsorship deal in history. He may even have to give back some of the advance money so this is going to hit Saurez where it really hurts: His wallet.

On another note, while USA didn't exactly play well, given the conditions and that it was against Germany who have killed everyone so far, it's actually a pretty decent result.

Killed everyone ? You could say Ghana outplayed them in the tie lol the only other team they played was Portugal

Did Bel deserve a red card? I saw the replay again I guess it does look intentional.

He went in two footed and studs up and got nowhere near the ball. The kind of tackle that breaks legs, and a clear red card.

Happy for Algeria, yay :)

I haven't been following this but it's my neighboring country and I have family who are Algerian, so I can't help but be happy for them. :)

Just came across this excellent article about Luis Suarez and his moments of madness:
