Not for the first time in their history, that was a very meek surrender by the French. Germany hardly had to do anything in the end and could have won by more at the end. Hummels and Boateng were both excellent at the back.

That was not a really exciting game, frankly. I hope that Colombia vs Brazil is more interesting.

I don't know about everyone else, but to me it didn't seem like being one goal down gave France any sense of urgency. They just kept playing the same lackluster way...
