This was by far the worst brazilian team i have ever seen in a World Cup (94 till 2014) and it's all Felipao's fault. We played well only the first 15 minutes against Chile and the first half against Colombia.

This team did not developed a decent football and worst, it didn't get better during the competition. Our midfield was a joke. You could see clearly the ABYSSAL space between defense and attack. We were not a compact team and all we could do was hoping for a good David Luiz' long pass. Embarrassing.

This is a result of an old vision that Felipćo has about football. He is a great team motivator/aggregator but tactically speaking, he is totally outdated. He thinks he's training a Brasileirao's team and playing against another Brasileirao team. To him, Cameroon and Germany are the same . Hence why he played exactly the same against both. Actually, all teams are equal to him. Tactically, we are playing like Japan, South Korea and Cameroon.

But wait, why Felipćo was our coach? Because brazilian football is ing dying. Slowly. Painfully. We don't have good coaches anymore. Not a single coach has a modern football mentality. Felipćo was just a shield for CBF (our football federation) to hide behind. After all, Parreira and Felipćo were World Champions! They should be good, right!? Well, 10 years ago they were.

Just take a close look at our championship and compare with Bundesleague and Premiere League. Look how organized their teams are. Sometimes it seems like it's a different sport from what is practiced here. Ask anyone here that loves football about how they feel watching the end of the World Cup and the beginning of Brasileirćo. It's ing depressing. We are at the bottom of a deep hole. CBF doesn't care about developing our coaches and our championship, they only care about selling Brazilian National Team games to a big russian corporation to make huge money and get rich.

R.I.P brazilian football.

No chance. They might well lose, and even lose something like 3-0, but they've been very tight at the back all tournament. In fact, that cautious, tight approach is probably the cause of their stifled attacking play, which is unusual given how attack-heavy their squad is but reflects how Sabella has approached this tournament. Keep it tight at the back, play with organisation and rely on isolated moments of brilliance to win matches. In six games they've only conceded three goals, two of which came in their win over Nigeria when they'd already qualified from the group.

The reason Brazil were slaughtered is they were completely gung-ho. Without his two best players Scolari seemed to abandon a cohesive gameplan in favour of trying to win the game on sheer team spirit and will power. He even brought in Bernard to try and whip up the local crowd. Brazil lost so heavily because Marcelo kept rampaging forward and leaving a huge space for Muller, because David Luiz cannot organise his own defensive positioning, never mind the entire team's, and because they all completely lost their heads when they started conceding goals so early having set up to attack, attack, attack.

Germany are definite favourites in the final but it could be a lot closer than you think. Thus far when Germany have played a big team they have scored an early goal which has allowed them to dictate the terms of the game. If Argentina can score first or they continue to keep it tight, things could be very interesting.

Thinks it's worth to put Jay's words right here.

Why are these players being forced to walk up all those stairs? And then back down. Messi and Neuer twice. That seem rather inconsiderate given they played for 120 minutes. Let alone an entire World Cup tournament.

Anyways. Congrats to Germany! Well deserved. Great finish to the best WC that I've watched in my lifetime.
