NEW ALBUM - PARADE OF THE ATHLETES
Friday the 13th of August, the world’s biggest sports event has taken place. After the opening ceremony, everybody agreed that this was one of the most creative and beautiful opening ceremonies, the history of the Olympics has ever known. One performance during the opening amazed billions of people around the world. That night in Athens, Tiësto became the first DJ ever to play during the Official Olympic Opening Ceremony. This event everybody around the world was talking about has been the highlight in the career of Tiësto until now.
Due to all the positive reactions we received on this unique performance at the Opening Ceremony, we’ve decided to release this DJ set for everybody. Tiësto wants to share the special feeling that he felt during his performance in the Olympic Stadium.
The CD will be released on October 18th and the rest of the world will follow shortly. The CD will contain 8 completely new tracks specially made for this event and 4 well known tracks, which Tiësto really wanted to play at the ceremony. The complete tracklist is as following:

As we did with Tiësto’s latest artist album “Just Be”, Black Hole Recordings is pressing a 4 x 12” white and blue coloured vinyl album, containing the 8 new tracks on 1 side each:

Our regular visitors will get excited when reading these words, because they know what "Question & Answer" time means. We've opened up a special thread, in the "Messages from BHC" section in our forum, in which everybody can ask Tiësto the question(s) that he or she always wanted to ask him. The thread will be open until the 16th of September. We will ask Tiësto as much questions as possible and he will answer them for you on camera during his little tour in the U.S.A. at the end of September. The answers will be published on the website around the 25th of September. |

Tiësto was door de organisatie van de Spelen gevraagd om nieuwe muziek te componeren tijdens de binnenkomst van alle atleten. De respons op het Olympische optreden was zo groot, dat nu besloten is de hele ceremonie op CD te zetten.
Het album krijgt de naam 'Parade of Athletes' en is vanaf 18 oktober in de winkel verkrijgbaar.
