Words can't do it justice. Unbelievable. Definitely better than their set at Mansion last WMC.
Last year I did Set with Ingrosso, SHM at Mansion, and Ingrosso and Angello at Beatport, and each party was better than the last. |

has anyone else noticed how the ultra phase 1 flyer contains the words "ultra exclusive performances" ??

this could explain why theres no armin, no shm, no tiesto the past few years, a&b isnt officially at their anjunaparty yet, why the pyrda party doesnt list eric prydz. im surprised too that deadmau5 (not that i actually care) isnt throwing his own party either. he does fairly regular shows at mansion and isnt on their lineup. looking through the flyer though, i dont think any of those names are booked elsewhere (maybe will.i.am or some crap no one cares about) but yea... noticed this a few days ago.
of course theres ways of getting around the "exclusive performance" thing, but the party is never as good.
so is it ultras fault?
can we also blame ultra for the lack of trance this year? in theory if the artists arent getting booked by ultra then maybe they might think its not worth it for them to come? |

I dunno about the exclusive thing. Seems the artists always have other events. Though if we do look at it, Armin, Above and Beyond, and ATB (all trance) are on the exclusive phase 1 flyer. I am calling for a refund for my trip if Above and Beyond dont do Anjunabeats. I am not sure what the deal is with the phase 1 exclusive, but if thats the case and above and beyond dont do their own event, if armin doesnt do an armada event, if atb isnt at am only, etc then this is utter crap. Prydz is playing in two locations, and so is Will IAM, and im sure aoki and a-trak will as well, so at the moment im pretty confused. |

Well it's pretty sad to say but where else would Armin play? Who else would book him? What venue? Things aren't looking so good for trance this year blah. :nervous: |

think about it. a&b arent listed on their lineup yet, armin isnt anywhere, atb isnt on the am only lineup, eric prydz is only eric prydz at utlra. the set party is "pryda" and at the dj mag pool party he's "pryda" too. so thats how they get around the exclusive tag. yea will.i.am is playing a load of parties, but theres no other artist on that ultra flyer that is playing anywhere else (yet atleast).
all im saying is maybe ultra is paying certain artists more for that exclusive tag and thats why those artists arent having their own parties anymore. which sucks for some of us because parties we would love to go to simply arent happening. |

Both of those suck just as much. Dont even start with Metropolis though - what a dump.
And regarding the exclusivity, if prydz got around it by being pryda, maybe above and beyond will get around it by being Oceanlab??? All I know is they better be there haha |
