I can tell you that if anything I thought PVD sucked more back then, his 4th of july show that year with party 93.1 and the time I saw him at space blowed for me, but ever since then he has been on point. Now some might differ on what they like to hear. I would say PVD is playing more electronic music and not just pure trance as is everyone else. I have personally enjoyed every single set that he has done at space since 2005. The one set that I must admit though that kind of blew was the after hours set, only because I had seen him at Cameo right before and was expecting him to play more electro house like the Starkillers, which he has. Other than that his 2008 WMC set is legendary ( A must download). And last years was still good, but more diverse music. Also I can party just as hard to Tiesto as I can Locodice and Babyanne. At the end it is just about hearing good electronic music and if what we are listening to isn't your cup of tea, then go have a coke!!!!!
Well said! I have been doing conference events and or S. Fla events since 1998. I have seen all the different types of DJ's go to the top ,middle, & bottom. PVD is who is he is. A diva? Probally.. And so is Tiesto, Oakey, and on and on and on.... I really do think if there is 1 guy that I can truly say is the real deal and that is Paul. He has done so much for music and continues to do so today. Im sure at one point or another you might get tired of it but that doesn't take away who he is and what he has and continues to do. He is still arguably one the best in the world. I always see the same thing in the TA forum. But then again thats why this is here, to give opinions... At the end of the day just diversify, stop complaining and show some support. If we cant even support the trance scene that we have now aka big name djs (which is barley anything) what makes you think its gonna get any better with any new ones?? At the end of the day this is the music that gets us moving.. Lets make it happen and enjoy the out of it!!!!

Yes Mel, I will admit that I was, but you have to admit his sound has changed, and I guess I like the fact that he can incorporate more genres of electronic music in his sets now than before. In fact back then I was more into breaks and still wet behind the ears trance wise. But I honestly love how trance music is progressing and not just staying stale. And by the way are we all at work! Cuz I have not been productive.
