I noticed a few things on the Official TA 2010 Winter Music Conference Events List page.

Under Parties:

Wed day party "DJmag Recession Sessions 2"

Sunday day party "Sunday Tea with Danny Tenaglia"

Under Links:

The Ultra Music Festival website link doesnt work.

Under clubs:

It looks like Studio A is closed down according to the internet.

Kore has a website, not much info on it though http://www.korenightclub.com/

Just wanted to try and help.

We appreciate the help.

The list is still a work in progress. Jlove is going to do the maps & Flo hopefully will be doing the public transportation guide for the page. The set up being used is the one from last year. So expect more info soon.

No problem, just wanted to chime in on it, I understand it was from last year to save time, I would of did the same thing.

If possible could these be a WMC / Ultra public transportion thread soon? I would like to repost my bus route questions I made a few pages back on this thread?

Might as well start that early especially since there is a new route coming soon that goes from MIA to SoBe called route 150 I believe, etc.. And would like to get the people doing strictly buses to most places get some early plans for it.

I would like to post some sample routes, etc.. to try to get me familiar with where I need to go rotue wise to get to certain places.

Thanks.

As you can tell from my post I am very excited to go and been posting on here since October all types of questions, etc.. :)

ask away. i'll try my best to answer anything now. the guide is pretty thorough. theres a few minor things i have to change from last year but for the most part its the same.

never heard of this route 150 you're talking about. just checked and its new but the 150 is the airport flyer which goes from the airport to miami beach. actually thats not a bad route to add for those looking coming from the airport.

heres last years
http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...forumid=101&s=1

when the wmc subforum opens i'll spend the time and update it completely for 2010. but like i said, if you have any questions feel free to ask now.

edit: also if some people used the thread any of these past two years and would like to make any suggestions on how i can improve the thread, please feel free to let me know.

Thanks and my 7 bus day pass should be here any day now, so I need to get my monies worth using the bus as much as i can.

Cool here is what I have so far, I just copied and pasted what I typed a few pages back on this thread.

"From and To the MIA aiport:

MIA airport use the new route 150 eastbound Airport Beach Flyer to Washington Ave./Lincoln Rd. Stop. Then wait for South Beach Local 123 S to 12st and then walk to 1130 Collins: Ocean Reef Hotel. I will have 2 pieces of luggage I hope that is fine on these buses.

Return will be 123 N at Washington/12st up to Washington/Lincoln then wait for route 150 westbound. My flight leaves at 12noon so I better leave my hotel at 9:30am at the latest.

To and from Ultra:

103 C

Other places:

Looks like route 123 will get me to Nikki Beach no problem.
Looks like 123 will get me close to the Shelbourne as well on 18th St."

sounds about as good as you can get it. just a couple small little notes.

if you take the 150 from the airport the last stop according to the map is lincoln road. thats not far at all from your hotel. only about 5 or 6 blocks, so thats like a 10 min walk. so you dont have to wait and take the local. although if you have luggage you may want to take the local anyway.

if for some reason something goes wrong with the 150, then as a backup you can try the J (110). it will take you all the way to collins and 41st from which point theres numerous buses you can take to south beach. C, K, and H all will drop you off at 11th and washington. one block away from your hotel on collins.

and just to let you know, on the buses themselves it wont say the numbers for any bus with a letter. for example it wont say "103 C" it'll just say C Downtown Miami or C Mt. Sinai Hospital if you're going south/north respectively. the south beach local will just say "South Beach Local" but the 150 i think might say 150. not 100% sure on that one.

the K will also drop you off close by ultra, so you dont have to wait for just the C.

and if you run into anyone and you're taking the bus and they dont have a pass but they want to tag along, the local is only .25 cents. you cant swipe your card for them. the machines dont allow multiple swipes in a short period of time.

Thanks alot. I am keeping the pass to myself, and wouldnt risk trying something like that to risk losing the pass myself.

I noticed K didnt really show up while on the miami dade transportion website. Here is what they say about K, thats why I put down C only.

"Route K

The Route K will be merged into several other routes on Miami Beach. The Route K designation will be discontinued. Alternative service will be available along all roadways served by Route K.

The segment of Route K from the Omni Terminal to Lincoln and Washington has Route C and the revised Beach MAX as alternatives. Between Lincoln and Washington to Collins or Harding/88 Street, the new Route 115 (Mid-North Beach Connection) will provide service to this Route K segment. Collins and Harding between 88 and 193 streets will have Routes S and Beach MAX available.

On the north portion of the route, the segment of Route K on Bay Road between 174 and 178 streets is served by Route E. From Collins and 193 Street to Hallandale Beach, current Route K riders can transfer to Broward County Transit Route 28 at Aventura Mall or Collins and 193 Street."
