Winter Music Conference 2010 General Discussion Thread (pg. 25)

| anybody have an idea of what day Armada night will be on? im thinking Thursday or Friday but can't remember previous years. i found a site saying it was the 29th this past WMC but that was a Sunday. can anyone confirm? |

One of the best recomendations I have seen. You can save a ton of money by doing this. There are liquor stores too..get a few bottles and pre-party a little if you want to save some $$$ in the clubs. |

No info, but guessing Saturday. Not sure it was even called Armada Night in 2009. But AVB played Cameo with Jerome (last name u/k) on Saturday. And Armada Night was on Saturday in 2007 and 2008 as well. So probably Saturday |

Thanx, couldn't remember. Party was last WMC, and they both played good sets. Do not know who will play Armada Night in 2010, but kinda hoping for Armin to bring MIKE (aka Push) or Rank 1 to play a live PA
And while I'm on the subject, someone please bring Marco V for a live PA during WMC |

i knew it was Armin at Cameo but had no clue Isma-ae was with him. that would have been a great party and i heard it was in fact awesome. hoping for a similar booking this year.
on another note. how much was Space You pass? was it only at space events or space/cameo/surfcomber parties? |

| FU pass at Space had 3 levels of pricing and pricing escalated depending upon how close to the conference you purchased them. I purchased my silver band for $500 and had free reign at Surfcomer, Space, Cameo and Parkwest. Immediate entry and open bar for ANYTHING. 1st night at Sci+Tec at Space I ordered my buddy and I a redbull/vodka- $40. Let's just say the band paid for itself on the first night for me.... |

Yeah well think about it they don't have Cameo or Parkwest anymore, So will the band still hold it's value? |

i think they would adjust the price of the band accordingly.
i do believe Parkwest is still owned by LP... its just not open so they could open it for the conference... |

they were pretty much all invite only/vip last year... but as it gets closer see what pans out... |

Ya, they'll definitely adjust price. And even if Cameo and Parkwest aren't included, who gives a . No better place to be at WMC than watching the sun come up on the terrace with a world class DJ spinnin' then heading over to the surfcomer for free screwdrivers and a pool party...booyah
