I know I am going to get hated on. But PVD and his shows. Ferry Corsten + Perfecto + Boys Noize! I don't care how good Paul van Dyk and his music is or was. The guy is a jerk and does not deserve my money! |
I'll agree with that. I lost all respect for him when I saw him at Warehouse Project in Manchester a couple of years back. He played ok, not great, but he was followed by Eddie Halliwell, who is a local hero. PvD wanted everyone to cheer him on for an encore, but people were chanting for Eddie, not in disrespect for Paul, but just cos it was Eddie's homecoming gig, he hadn't played in Manchester for like 2 years. So PvD had a little diva hissy fit, threw his headphones on the ground and stormed off. What a tool. |

Folks...
If you create an event thread please provide info on where to get the tickets & possibly a flyer if its available so that more detailed info can be provided rather than posting a title nothing else. I've noticed some event threads have no real info listed in them.
If you create it help out a little a post more detailed info.

| Listen some out there might not know me, but I can assure you I have gone to almost every trance event in south florida since 2004. I can tell you that if anything I thought PVD sucked more back then, his 4th of july show that year with party 93.1 and the time I saw him at space blowed for me, but ever since then he has been on point. Now some might differ on what they like to hear. I would say PVD is playing more electronic music and not just pure trance as is everyone else. I have personally enjoyed every single set that he has done at space since 2005. The one set that I must admit though that kind of blew was the after hours set, only because I had seen him at Cameo right before and was expecting him to play more electro house like the Starkillers, which he has. Other than that his 2008 WMC set is legendary ( A must download). And last years was still good, but more diverse music. Also I can party just as hard to Tiesto as I can Locodice and Babyanne. At the end it is just about hearing good electronic music and if what we are listening to isn't your cup of tea, then go have a coke!!!!! |

Thank you!!!!
PVD is prob hands down one of the Best djs (If you wanna call him that even, More like a conductor in a symphony now HaHa)out there now! What other Djs do you know that dont even use CDJS or anything liek taht at all. When PVD is live he brings sooo much Equipment with him to make it a Truly LIVE EVENT. Weather its his 2-3 maybe sometimes 4 Mac Books that he uses to do on the Fly mixing to his Live Keyboards and anything else he does Live. There is no other Dj out there that does what he Does!! Im sure all you will Hate on this and what I say but I stand Firm in what I say and what ive seen of Him!!
Have your Fun with ARMIN VAN BORINNNNNNG!!! |

There, sir... I must disagree with you 110%.
Completely and utterly wrong lol. That 4th of July was the day after PvD was in AMSTERDAM (not even 24 hours prior) playing in SENSATION WHITE - which was being broadcast live and we heard almost the same exact set THEY DID in Ams - for free.
His best show was hands down the October or November 2005 show that the FLTA's still talk about. :D The week after he won #1 the first time. |
