I will tell you this is the exact problem in NY. These club owners do not care on bit about good music. They care about their revenue. I get it, they are running a business. They don't see that switching their featured product is going to hurt them in the long run. Unfortunately for us, Boris/Danny Tenaglia/Jonathan Peters type parties bring a lot of bar sales, more than any other EDM crowd. If they valued their business and wanted to keep exclusivity, they would try to pull dream line ups. I think Space is nearing it's end, the partner clubs are gone, they are losing cred. Too bad because I have had a lot of great nights there for WMC.

this is why i hate the people that love those parties. because they ruin it for the rest of us. the sets are not creative, the music is lackluster, and in the end its all bull. its all about how much money you can spend in one night, how cool you can look, and how many girls you can scam. its not about the music at all.

its supposed to be about the music though. i dont care if you love minimal and i hate it or whatever... because you know what? if its decent music and its not geared just to make a buck, then fine do your thing. it may not be the music i love but if people enjoy it for the music and the dj and the party and not what they can get out of it then, well, thats what its supposed to be!

you're right though. i think space is nearing its end. ive been saying it for several years now, especially with all the high rises going up in downtown (which have slowed because of the economic climate) but while they are still making money with this boris type bull, sooner or later, that well will dry up. maybe then miami can get a fresh scene again. but still, im not holding my breath. :(

Im guessing this will be in main room with some better acts on the terrace and loft (Viva/Pryda/Anything)... I highly doubt they would lower the entire club to this level.. but I wouldn't be suprised...

and this year the F-You Wristbands will be starting at the low-low price of "your left nut + $10,000" guarenteed VIP space right next to Boris AND a bottle of Vladamir vodka SIGN ME UP!

such a let down already...really enjoyed early morning terrace sets...
:whip: :whip:
perhaps i won't be kicking my own ass for not being able to go this year...do better downloading all the live sets from home.

sure. tell yourself whatever you want that will make you feel better.

1 night has been announced and the real parties haven't begun being announced yet.

look at smartbar chicago, they run the widest variety of music and their promoters are the hardest working in the business AND they are packed every weekend.

thanks for posting this. was curious about when it was going to come out.

but it looks pretty so far. and no pvd? i dunno when he usually gets announced (if its phase 2, after, or whatever), but im assuming he'll be there too since hes been with ultra since the beginning and never missed one. but i also would of assumed he'd be announced on phase 1. i dunno. whatever. lets wait for the full lineup i guess.
