Winter Music Conference 2010 General Discussion Thread (pg. 54)

Phase 1 - very diverse this time. lots of glitch in there that will bring many new people. Also Prydz is back which many will respect as well as Swedish House mafia (YES!). The trance is the same - hopefully they have a trance stage this time but doubt it. Also, Will I.Am. shoudn't be there damnit. I just hope they dont splice the main stages with glitch, house, techno and trance. And if they do - then create other stages this time to organize trance at.
Wonder who the live band will be this year - other than Infected - i am talking headliner. At least get a fun one and not a somewhat edm act.
IMO the lineup SUCKS - not into the glitch revolution and Deadmau5. |

| Damn wtf is PVD on the line up on Day 2? He always gets announced on first phase that is pretty fishy. Eddie Halliwell, AVB, and A&B day 2 = WIN! :) |

The lineup was announced at PVD, giving out flyers at the end of the night. I was in the front row when he ended(not because I'm some groupie but my friends were all there. He shook my hand and I said Happy New Year, see you at WMC, he squeezed my hand and laughed. He's such a ******, lolz, I want deets!
Day One is ok and day two is straight up bull I'll catch the rest of Carl Cox at a week in Ibiza and Armin somewhere else. Pretty sure A&B will be on another night.

| Day 2 looks much better than Day 1 except for a few acts lol. I hope they have a bigger tent this year because the one SHM was in last year was too small and I couldn't be there more than 20 mins and I missed most of their set. |

yea i figure pvd will be there.. its just weird they didnt include him in phase 1.
ima wait for the full lineup. obviously many many more names will get announced, but if it doesnt get any better, im just gonna sell my tickets. i was actually looking forward to going to utlra again after 6 years of not going, but if its like that then it.

i caught swedish house mafia at mysteryland for the first time this past year. caught them about an hour into their 2.5 hour set and when we walked up, they were ripping it. but somehow after 20-25 minutes it felt like i had experienced all i was going to get outta their set and dipped out. it was pretty funny, but my point is, i dont think you missed much. |

Ultra prelim. lineups look great to me, mostly since I am a newb and I havent heard almost none of these artist live.
Looking forward to seeing more wmc parties listed soon as well. |

| does anyone know if there will be a Swedish House Mafia night this year at WMC. Ingrosso on his twitter mention the SHM will be playing New York and Ultra, but then he also mention that him and angello will be playing Mansion. Did he just forget Axwell? |

What they call "Phase 2" should be out in the next couple days just like that past 5 years... Im sure PVD will be there.. Im just hoping for some great shows throughout the week before the energy the following week. |

phase 1 just got announced 2 days ago. its not even on their website yet. what makes you think phase 2 is coming in a couple days? i would think its going to be another month before phase 2. and yes im sure pvd will be there... its just odd he wasnt on phase 1 was my whole point. |
