for me. I am waiting on Anjunabeats Night and other big parties, and I hope Made Event is not only doing two events at WMC. |

I didn't even know SSFD was on sale! :mad:
I might cut my WMC time in half and go Thurs - Mon cuz I plan on going to Miami for a looooong time superbowl weekend/25th bday \o/ |

| Although the lineup was awesome, I didnt really have a good time at SSFD...I dunno if it was because of the overcast weather or if it was due to exhaustion since it was the last party on my list, but I didn't like it as much as the pool parties. Im debating whether or not to give it another chance. For those of you that go every year, how did last years party compare to previous years? |

i thought last years was way better than 2008. so many memorable moments i can't even begin to describe...
edit: ok, maybe not 'way' better but it was better...being under a school bus and hearing gerber mixed up w/ ice cream truck music while eating an ice cream cone was pretty cool...all during a torrential downpour |

both 2008 at pawn shop and last years at ice palace were amazing in their own special way.
the feel of this party though is not to be compared to a SOBE pool party. in fact it is meant to be the opposite. it's dirty, dark, lots of ugly, grungy, wasted tired people, the spot isn't supposed to be pretty, it's meant to feel as the music does, dark techno. and that is the feel you get and i love it :) maybe b/c i spend so much time at dark, warehouse undergrounds out here in LA is why i love this party or the fact that they supply you with some of the best techno djs around for 24 hours but i will never miss it again as long as i go to WMC.
if you are looking for fluff and pretty people and a nice lounge of a club then yes you might be disappointed but most that go to this party know exactly what they are getting into and willingly go to get their minds blown :) just my 2 cents on the best party at wmc :crazy:
btw: not saying TA's are ugly, just an adjective to get in your mind the look of people after partying another 24 hours after being in miami for several days partying :) |
