Yeah I know it says that they are exclusive, but I was trying to discuss more the fact as to why they are doing this, and not finding the need to do other events as was the case with them in prior WMCs. Does playing at ULTRA matter more then doing a club during WMC or vice versa ( Food for thought)? And with all the artist that ARMADA has wouldn't they want to showcase them even with AVB. |

im sure ultra pays them more for the exclusive tag.
regarding armin... hes got asot450 to worry about so im sure it was an easy decision. play ultra, get paid, go to ny and get ready for asot450.
tiesto doesnt need the exposure anymore in miami, so he just does ultra and then gets out.
and an armada party without armin isnt going to make any money. so many trance parties over the years with even amazing lineups have bombed horribly. there needs to be a big name attached for it to not fail. |

Yeah after AVB and Markus you don't have a big headliner, so I guess they would fail any night thursday through saturday.
I mean the only night I see it being worth it for them to do something with just ARMADA artist would be wednesday night, not too much competition there, but maybe not enough people would go cuz it is early during the week.
Also, AVB could have gone with an alias like Gaia which I know was mentioned before and is being done with ABOVE and Beyond for their anjuna party, MYSTERY GUEST= OCEANLAB! |

if armin promoted a party under gaia it would fail. not enough people know that alias is armin. fact is a lot of noobs go see armin just because he is the "number one dj in the world."
im sure armin will be back next year with an armada party though, i guess they just didnt do it this year because of asot450.
and that a&b news isnt official in anyway. thats just us speculating and guessing, so dont take it too seriously. |

im sure a&b will play their own party. if they dont, there will sure be a lot of pissed off fans. so i wouldnt worry too much about it. its just we have to understand that its not official. |

Well if it was at Cameo and said Armada Night with no mention of Armin, I dont think it would fail. It comes down to the club its at. If its mansion or cameo it would sell out - but if it was at parkwest or what not then no way. the location has a lot to do with it during WMC as well.
As for Above and Beyond, I am hoping its an Oceanlab Live thing but the contract might just be their name cant be listed and therefore it could just be a normal set with them as guests. |

I highly doubt we will get an Oceanlab set. If we did - they could have probably posted that info.
