I just got word the rumored event is a go 100 percent (yay) and will be friday (yay) at nocturnal (boo - though better than metropolis). However, it isnt officially confirmed.
Not sure what they are waiting on - was about to get tickets to another event. Are they going for the failure that was The Kingdom? |

I believe many of the artists get around the "exclusive" issue by doing events that aren't official WMC events. |

Glad I logged on here so late! haha, Damian Marley & Nas?! Wow, didn't see that one coming. Kinda hard to read some of them, but can see the most part. Initial rxns...
FRIDAY
Main stage - Maybe I'll catch a little of Wolfgang if he's early since he tore it up when we had him here a few months back and then catch the end of Tiesto's set for traditions sake :)
Bayfront stage - Infected, TCM, & Rabbit in the Moon?? That sounds fun!
UMF Ibiza arena - Looks cool (except for Will.I.Am since I don't know much about how he spins) w/Eric Prydz, Dirty South (there for sure :D), Kaskade, Felix da Housecat, & Laidback Luke.
Carl Cox tent - I will see Luciano & Timo Maas other pts of the week so only if nobody I haven't seen is playing, but will prob drop by for a part of Umek and most of Cox since sat will be a little hectic and want to make a point to see him.
SATURDAY
Main stage - Kinda disappointed Armin isn't headlining :/. Deadmau5 is great (we've had him 3 times and every party is fun, but I looooove trance haha), will be there for all the SHM set and maybe drop by for Damian Marley & Nas (sounds interesting). Oh and Calvin Harris dj set... how could ULTRA not get live from him?!
Bayfront stage - Probably will catch most of Orbital if they DO indeed close the night and Ultra doesnt do what it does every year and mixes people up as far as set times.
Carl cox - Sasha & Digweed in there?!! Holy that is GREAT! The sound in there is amazing! SHOULD BE FUN :). Hopefully I can catch a part of Fedde & Morillo, but seeing as how bad ass the next stage is and will probably fill in the rest of my time there, I probably wont get to...
UMF Brazil arena - IMO the BEST stage outta both days as far as talent. Above & Beyond, Paul Oakenfold (eh..), Sander Kleinenberg, ATB, Markus Schulz, Gareth Emery, Sander van Doorn (WOOO!!!!!!!! SOOOOOOO glad he's finally on SOMETHING! *crosses fingers* hopefully that means hes doing all of wmc and playing several parties :D ), & Christopher Lawrence!!! **THIS STAGE WILL BE DEADLY :)**

I know he DESERVES to be on the main stage, but it would be a GREAT idea to switch Armin onto that last stage and put Oakenfold & Kleinenberg on the main stage. Have a trance stage :), it's pretty much all there already! DO IT!
Overall, saturday > friday, but I know its all going to be fun fun fun. WOO! NOW im excited, was kinda worried there... I AM worried about who's going to conflict with SHM and S&D on sat tho :/. Oh well, Ill catch S&D on the yacht so if I miss them I won't feel too bad, but i DO want to be there for the whole SHM set. Hopefully its during the Oakenfold set haha. |

bigger flyer please. i can barely read any of that. i see its leaked so that may not even be possible...
yay for sander van doorn... although his festival sets tend to suck. but this means hopefully he'll be playing somewhere else too. :D
from what i can tell though the lineup is better than what i initially thought it was going to be.
and :eek: no pvd. cant believe that. first time ever. really wonder wtf happened. pvd was the closer at every ultra ever. |

| The main stage on Friday is a pile of crap, bar Groove Armada. Staying well clear of that. Biscayne stage looks pretty dirty though, looks like I'll be getting my breaks fix at that! Orbital are amazing live, but I'm not gonna go see them, went to see their 'last ever' set at Glastonbury a few years back, and now they're back again! Feel a bit ripped off, haha! |
