| Or buy the Mansion VIP band for $300. WTF are they smoking? Probably trying to sell more VIP tables. 6 people plus booze seems cheap for $1500 instead of $500 each. |

The pic of just your arm? Or do they show your face? If you were famous/celeb you would have a cause of action for invasion of privacy - appropriation of personality. Unfortunaltly since your not Michael Jordan or someone almost every knows, you would not likely get much $ in court. |

lol just my wrist. its not that extreme, i just feel like they took a personal picture and didn't ask to use it for a purpose that makes them money. its a cool picture...i like to think someone seeing it that is already interested in buying an F-You band would be thrown over the edge with excitement after seeing the picture and it seeming more "real" so they quickly spend $1100 on it and Space cleans up...if it weren't for people like us who talk about our experiences with the band and had personal connections to it, Space wouldn't sell very many of them. The legend is bigger than the fact...sadly.

chances are you won't get anything by pursuing legal action. because your likeness is not being used (nobody can tell who that pic is) and because it is an image of their own You Band, you won't have much of a case. |
