Bosnia hardly counts as war. Wasn't there genocide going on at the time? Don't even bring WW2 into this, we know what happened :p

Was Bosnia officially declared war? I thought that was the genocide one...or was that Kosovo? Same thing? ing sand people.

I'm just pointing out that the Republicans don't have a monopoly on getting the US involved in wars. No judgment on whether or not any of the wars were justified, as that's entirely subjective... just sayin' it isn't only right wingers that want to blow up (although in fairness, the Dems were the right wing party at the time of Madison). Suggesting anything else is just intellecual dishonesty.

Same thing... but Korea was never really declared a war either.

Wrong. You're putting up a front to make yourself seem cooler and more acceptable. Why wouldn't you be mild mannered, helpful, and nice on the internet too? You don't have to be a douchebag just because you're online.

I can be, was I not helpful when I was trying to get you up and streaming for radio? :conf:

Online I can make much clearer and radical differentiations between how I treat one person vs. the other.

Key word was START.

1812 - Debatable, but the general idea was that the Brits started it.
WWI - Ongoing, we joined in to help allies.
WWII - Same thing, plus we were attacked.
Korea - Ongoing, UN police action
Bosnia - Ongoing, NATO peacekeeping action (which was still wrong, NATO is not a peacekeeping force, they are a force of aggression)

Afghanistan - We were attacked, but not by a nation state, but there is still justification for going in (staying as long as we have though..... sort of need to, but its just going to be an ongoing battle with no clear parameters for victory).

Iraq - YEE ING HAW.

Actually, the phenomena is called doubling. Basically, on-line interaction, being a fairly anonymous exchange, the tendency is for people to behave in a way quite different from the way they behave, IRL. Someone who projects confidence and audacity, on-line, might well be a timid person, who lacks confidence.

I do wonder if you'd have said some of the things you've said to Kevin, if you'd actually known him on a personal level but I also think there's a lot of on-line persona that is duplicated in your real life.

A little, most of that was trial and error on my part. I actually had to go into a chatroom on one of the radio websites for troubleshooting. I appreciated your help, but you and I were talking via IRC, not on the forums. All I'm just saying that you should try to be yourself more instead of someone you're not. I've never met you in person, but I'm sure you're a very interesting person with a nice personality, and that's exactly how you should reflect yourself online, not as a know-it-all prick who slings random insults at republicans. There's a difference between being funny and being an . =\

I highly doubt Kevin personally called you out or insulted you, regardless of how much trash he talked about Obama. That's also pretty hypocritical, considering every single democrat in the country talked about Bush 24/7. Apples and oranges, of course, but you get what I mean.
