Crazy to think. 9 years ago today (about 10 hours from now), I was getting ready to head to my grad school internship. I turned on ESPN to watch Sportscenter and the anchors were talking about an airplane hitting a building. I switched to CNN right as the first tower was collapsing. When it became apparent what was happening, all I could think was "Holy ing ". Went to my internship and nobody was doing anything except being glued to the tv all day like zombies.

So, basically you're saying, I know you are but what am I? Your skill with humor has actually retreated from the fourth grade level.

I was staying in a hostel in Byron Bay at the time. I'd been travelling for nearly 3 years, and had just been back in Australia for a few days.

I was in 5th grade when a teacher stormed in the class, went on CNN and we all saw the picture of the first tower after it was hit. I didn't even know that it the second tower was hit and they collapsed until I got home. I kept imagining that the towers fell over sideways :wtf:

I was getting up for work and turned the news on. Truly an awful day.

It saddens me that she posted it with a strong anti-American bias. It should be an example of how politicians and radicals can be worthless despite their nationality :(
