Alright good, we have some progress. Now lets list the problems with the proposed center. Obviously you have to do this part because aside from sensitivity to some of the victims I see no other issue with it.

I'm serious. You want to actually have a debate? You want to put your fine and spirited dissent on display? Lets go over this one piece at a time and respectfully.

I'm down with that. You want to do it here or in seriousness by PM? It will have to wait till tomorrow because I'm about to start a grueling stretch of Friday night paperwork for my company.

Edit: lol @ Selma :p

Lets just do it here so everyone else can chime in if wanted. But seriously, one issue at a time, piece by piece.

That's cool. You know what though? I think we should do it by PM first... then post the debate in its entirety on here. Otherwise, all the chiming in will prolong the actual debate.

One thing that makes me wonder if you do understand the opposing perspective is that you have said that a significant number of those for the building are so because of some obligation to be PC. Can you concede that many formed their position out of genuine belief in Muslims' right to the same freedom of religion than any other faith enjoys?

Absolutely. I understand that, and I don't have a problem with freedom of religion. To most, that's not what this issue is about.

I wasn't trying to make the point about freedom of religion. I have seen where you stated that people who are for the building are afraid of being labeled politically incorrect. What I'm asking is can you see that many have formed their opinion on the matter out of genuine individual thought, not peer pressure by the dogma of the left?

Best if read in the voice of Anthony Hopkins, from Silence of the Lambs. I really do a wonderful impression of him with my voice.

So sorry I may have missed you, on your way out. Your avatar seems a little familiar - a-la Jack the Ripper. Apparently, he took a detour over to the United States when things got a little hot in London. Ironic. Quite ironic.

The funny thing is that I don't even have a job as prestigious as Wal-Mart. I really don't, but the fallacy you're spewing is so transparent, it shouldn't take a Wal-Mart greeter to tell you're full of . Great gobs of you keep slinging around here. So much that one would have to come to the conclusion that you are, at best, a useful idiot, and at worst, a useless one.

I honestly think you believe it. That's the funny part. It doesn't change the fact that if you get your way, the day that happens, you might actually have the capacity to realize that you've ed yourself over, well short of Galt's Gulch.

Yet somehow, someone who doesn't even work a job comparable with a Wal-Mart wage employee somehow manages to use correct grammar in constructing sentences which don't contain awkward phrasing yet do have appropriately placed commas. My, the education system is quite a shamble; when someone like you can graduate with an MBA, yet not have the faintest clue about appropriate grammar - elementary grammar.

Let me guess... You're going to call me a grammar nazi and then protest that you're not writing for a college level paper? That would be a really stupid thing for you to do but you're so high on the fungus growing on the you're spewing, I'll bet you'll do just that.

And what business are you in, exactly? You seem to have found command of the non sequitur. Do you talk in non sequitur to your 'colleagues' -
