What about the Centro? Not so good?

I don't understand why they couldn't make a GSM version of the 755p...

The Centro is not really anything special, it's a just a tad better then the 680. The unit itself is tiny and the screen is small. Palm sold so many to units that consist are girls and the university type kids.

Any Palm OS5 unit is really out dated now, wait until Nova and see what happens if you want to stick to Palm.

Yeah, GSM 755 would nice.

Nah, that's like 6 months away at the earliest. My 650 is starting to get flakey - weird like freezes, random reboots, phantom dialing (with the keylock!), and turning the phone off for no reason (!!) - so I want to swap it soon. The 680 is only a hundred bones on eBay anyway.

The Centro seems to be a little smaller, but I guess other than that it's almost the same phone for twice the price, so maybe it's not worth it.

Can you get that $30 6 GB 3G plan with your 680, even though it's not a 3G phone? Does it work?

AT&T sells the Centro for $99.99 and Roger's price is $299.99! How you figure?

Huh? How do I figure what?

Rogers has the Centro for $300, and the 680 for $175. eBay prices for the Centro hover around $200 and for the 680 they seem to vary between $100 - $150. Am I missing something?

Just came back from the Apple store to get my replacement, powered up my new unit and got another dead pixel in the middle again. This time it’s smaller, but not ass annoying … getting another new unit in 3-5 Days.

This time around got a very humble and cool G Bar dude, he told me everything is valid for an exchange and etc. From the smallest dead pixel and even my dust spec is valid. As long as the unit doesn’t have physical damages or water damages, you’re covered.

I got to give to them; "sometimes" customer service is outstanding at Apple (It's like Roger's, spin the CSR wheel and hope you land on someone cool) ,but we all know I’m going to abuse this to the end of my warrantee date. Like that GBar dude said “It shouldn’t happen, bring it back and we’ll exchange it for you”

At this rate, no need for a screen protector or cases at all.

"A highly-demanded and much-rumored new device from Apple, the MacBook Touch, has allegedly been confirmed by a MacDailyNews tipster. The tipster, although not confirmed as an Apple insider, or parts supplier, talks of some mind-blowing features for the new Mac tablet, such as an iPhone-like screen, advanced gesture tech, a built-in superdrive and more.

According to MacDailyNews, this is it! Not only is the device (allegedly) just a tad smaller than a MacBook display, but it has an iPhone-style glass surface, advanced gesture library, slot-loading SuperDrive, accelerometer and GPS as well. According to the source, the MacBook Touch is launching this year, "by October at the latest."

lol so you lose half the screen to the keyboard.

I can imagine actually trying to get some work done on that thing.

Edit: so wait, either the screen is horizontal in which case it's difficult to look at cause you gotta be peering down over your hands, or the screen is vertical in which case it's difficult to actually type anything on.

Seriously Apple, way to go.

Innovation: Sticking existing things into other already existing things.

Edit #2: hahahaha this has got to be fake. There's no way this is real. It's just too stupid for even Apple fanboys to buy into.
VERTiG0
Yes its fake, those renders have been around for like a year.

Also it'll be like $5000.
