Okay folks, I need MMS settings for Rogers that actually WORK. On my T809/D820, I have overwritten the T-Mobile settings with these:
Profile Name: Keep at existing default one and overwrite
Server URL:http://mms.gprs.rogers.com
Proxy: Enable
Version: 1.2 (295kb)
Proxy Address: 172.25.0.107
Proxy Port: 80
APN: media.com
Login ID: media
Password: mda01
However, when trying to send a picture message it tells me that I cannot connect to the server. What in the ? These are apparently the most current... Can somebody on Rogers check their MMS settings and let me know if there are any discrepancies between yours and the one I have listed here? |

| , I can only imagine for how much the D900 is going to run. |

Meh, the D900 is exactly my phone but not as sexy and with a better camera. Otherwise it's the same.
The X820 on the other hand, 6.9mm thin (iPod Nano-like) is holy sweet. However I'll take the 320x240 display on my D820 as I have been spoiled. I can't even look at phones like the SLVR or RAZR or anything because they're so low-res and grainy as .
D830, eh, I don't like clamshells/flip phones. Everybody has them and with phones, exclusivity is key.
Sliders are where it's at for form and function.
STILL THE KING BABY!

I'm going on a 2-week road trip in the US the last week of July.
I've seen the cool mobile GPS units at Costco and Sams Club for $800, so awesome, but pricey at the moment and I imagine they'll be half the price next year, and so forth.
Other than taking advantage of the 30-day return policy, anyone know where I can rent one of these babies, or who has one I can pay to borrow it from for a couple of weeks? Do they need activation, or are they power-on and go? Anything less pricey I can add to my Sony Ericsson w600i cellphone? Thanks! |

I had a huge issue with telus yesterday...
I bought the Treo about 45 days ago... I definately use it mostly for text messaging and the sales person told me that I could have unlimited text messaging on my pda...
Well, much to my suprise when I wanted to call in the unlimited text messaging yesterday, I was not able to... apparently I would have to pay .15 per sent text every month and that bundles do not apply to pda phones...
Just to put this in perspective, I had 2000 sent and received texts last month... I would be paying an extra $150 a month just to text... on top of my REQUIRED $80 plan!!! Can you imagine!?!?
Anyways, Telus was good enough to work something out for me (Thank goodness) I thought I was going to cry over this... who the hell can afford that!??
And apparently Telus is working on having bundles for the pda phones in the near future.
Just a warning for any of you looking to get a pda phone through Telus... I am not sure of the other cell phone providers policies... |

^ WTF???
What does it matter what kind of phone it is? An SMS message is an SMS message, PDA phone or not. Maybe I'm missing something here, but I think Telus is BSing you. |
