Hahah. 350 is like midrange, lol (I'm assuming you're talking about what Cale paid). New high-end models fetch for like 600 easy.
The D820 is a kickass phone tho. The D8*0 line is much better than their previous D500s and D600s. Those were just fat mofos. |

Well, the D820 is just a slimmed down D600. The only difference is the camera (1.3mp in the D820 as opposed to 2mp in the D600).
I would've picked up a D800 if it weren't for the lack of a cardslot. 1GB Transflash cards hurrah! |

And yeah, cardslots for the win for sure. What's the point of having that fancy screen if you can only fit 40 megs of video on it? I just they had more capacity - 1GB or even 2GB is a bit limiting for me, because if the phone has a cardslot ability, I'd be really inclined to double it as my mp3 player in which case 1 gig isn't gonna cut it. |

You'd be hard pressed to find a phone that has more than a few hours of MP3 capability. The Samsung batteries, namely mine in particular, ing suck. They're 800mAh and yet this phone sucks so much power it has to be recharged, at the least, every 2 days. |

| I just got a new boring phone from work :( Samsung a860. Like, you have to go through SO MUCH effort just to find a damn phone that doesn't have a camera these days! :( |

I'd rather be slashed up with a rake than use that phone, Fahad.
PS: D870 is the new hotness, but it hasn't got 850MHz capability :(

Try more like $800+. (eg. Nokia 8801 and the likes)

~$6000 (basic model - accent) - VERTU. Yes it sounds ridiculous to spend so much on a phone, but I want one!! :D

I would suggest you to go to PM, and choose two different stores, and start bargaining from there. I do not have much experience @ PM, since I get most of my phones online. |

Its basically a prepped up Nokia. Nothing too special (except for a concierge service - which you pay heavily for). Its more like a piece of jewellery. For eg. what does a Rolex do other than tell you the time? |

Yeah PM can be daunting! Right next to my office at Woodside Mall (I think that's ther right name)--Woodbine and Hwy 7 there's this Chinese mall that has about 5 stores. I checked it out a few months ago and the prices and selections were pretty awesome. Maybe if you and Simms wanted to drop by in Richmond Hill after work sometime I can show you around. I could use an update after receiving that ty phone that Cale also cut up quite nicely for me. :( |
