Anyone tried to upgrade to the $30/6GB plan they have on rogers without an iPhone, I've heard already that if you dont have a 3G phone, they wont let you change the plan. But so far all ive read here is that they should be allowing anyone to upgrade to that limited offer plan.
I have a non-3G apple phoned and upgraded without any issue at all!

Wait, you have a Blackberry Pearl 8100 and it does not have 3G, yet you signed up for the 6GB/mo data thing?

What the hell is a "flash cable?" Are you looking for a cable to connect to your PC to your phone so you can flash the firmware of your phone to unlock/debrand it?
AFAIK that's what the cable is called, "flash cable"/"unlock cable" not to be confused with the regular "data cable" :). Looking to flash the firmware. I really would like to find a place in the downtown core, rather than ordering online (which unfortunately seems like the best option atm)
BTW, exstasie, that site doesn't carry them (or I'm blind...).

No yellow screen here, quite a lovely display actually. Battery life will be TBD though as it came fully charged.

Okay well what phone is it that you wish to flash? They are all very different, and there are a ton of different connectors.

Samsung D900 is my phone, I believe that D600 uses the same cable, possibly some other models as well.

It uses the same cable as my trusty D820...
A cable which I happen to have laying around my house...
That I don't use.

You may check out Easycell or Bongo Wireless.
Or just go to the Pacific Mall, guaranteed to find it there.

RIDGE RACER MOBILE!
Look how smooth that is ... it's almost like a PS2!
