Yes, you can buy an unlocked one, swap your SIM card in and you're good to go.

If your gonna get a PDA Phone ... get a PROPPA unit! Treo, HTC or Blackberry and keep with them.
The more you try other units, the more money your gonna waste and get fustrated and switch back.

Well honestly,
if you've got the money to dish out for
1. a new BB
2. 3G surfing
its a prerry effin good upgrade. If you download opera mini, you have computer style surfing on your BB.
Its pretty much a no-sacrifice BB. if you want wifi AND gps, its got it. If you want solid speakers, or audio out, its got it, etc Although, no CDMA, but who uses that anyway...

I've got Opera Mobile 9.5 going on my Touch and holy it's good. It almost redeems the phone's shortcomings for how goddamn good it is. |
