The local calling area for the cities below will be changing effective March 10, 2010 to align with standard boundaries across the industry. Local calling areas are the areas in which you can make or receive calls without incurring long distance charges. These changes will provide clarity around our local calling area boundaries and may make your bill easier to understand. As a result of these changes, some of your calls may be rated as long distance, which would first appear on your next invoice after the effective date. All other aspects of your service will remain the same.

Palm Pre Plus shows off multitasking upgrade with 50 simultaneous apps
Yea, you read that right -- fifty apps loaded side by side by freaking side on the Pre Plus, and the thing just kept on ticking. The chaps over at Pre Central decided to test out specifically how much of an improvement the doubling of RAM and storage in the new handset delivered, and they were not disappointed. Opening up the same apps on both phones, they found the original Sprint Pre (sporting a mere 256MB of RAM) ran out of puff at the 13 app mark, whereas the Pre Plus soldiered on until a nice round fifty was reached. Go past the break to see the video evidence for yourself -- long live multitasking!

For people on the edge of the line, like me, it could be a big deal. Is that dot representing Aurora in the middle of Aurora, or does it reach to the Newmarket border?
I'm in Aurora and have a 416 number. I've long enjoyed having a 416 number from the 905, with 416 being a local dial number, and all of a sudden 416 being long distance for me would royally piss me off. I'll follow up with them because I would be outraged if this were the case.

Ppl on Wind who are enjoying their "unlimited" calling and txting, are getting calls from Wind. "Your usage is too high & there's a fair use policy in effect, your account has been warned."
Wind doesn't seem to be so friendly as promised

The fair policy states that if a Wind user goes over 5,000 hours then yes, the user must be warned. Who uses a phone 5,000 hours a month? If you do then you seriously don't have much of a life and/or hate your day job.

Most ppl who are getting these calls are using max 3 hrs of talk time a day and txting, no idea of the amount
180 mins x 31 = 5580mins/ month
I don't even use more then 10mins of talktime for a month lol Txting is the way nowadays.

Remember I stated 5,000 hours a month not 5,000 minutes a month. 5,000 hours a month is more than plenty. I could give the phone out to all my friends and they still wouldnt be able to go over the limit.
