No, definitely not silk. Stretch charmeuse...probably polyester, though you'd think for 250 bucks it'd be silk.

I just had a thought as I was looking at my feet in dire need of a pedicure...
Think about all the nasty feet that have been inside shoes before you buy them. I wonder if shoe stores disinfect the shoes at the end of the day like in a bowling alley? They should! Ew!
Oh! And I wanted to mention the RIDICULOUS gift registry that my bf's cousin and her fiancée have! Everything is so ing expensive, and while I do believe in spending a certain amount for a wedding gift, I think they're being goddamn unreasonable considering it's already costing over 600 bucks to stay at the hotel where the wedding is...plus at least 100 bucks for gas to drive the 5 hours to get there!
I guess they make up for it with open bar. But still. What the hell. |

I dont think I have that shoe problem.
My feet are so god damn small. It's near impossible to find shoes my size.
Obviously there is no need for size 5 womens. There is a need for some 5 1/2 but some I can pull off - most of the time its hard to pull off. |

oo it's totally a nasty thought.
I just bought 2 shoes online that were 5 1/2 - 1 looks good (cant tell its a lil big) - the other i have to return it.. it looks retarded on me and i loooooooooove the shoe. :( |

Speaking of, here's a better shot of the shoes I bought. Initially I wanted to get something silver and strappy, but then I thought it would look too tacky/skanky. These were the only black shoes I tried on, because I liked the way the sheen of the material went with my dress (it's like a fabric croc with embellished scales..dunno if that's the best way to describe, but they're not plastic/patent or whatever).
And then I managed to find a matching purse at a completely different store...on sale! :D

they also have it in reverse colors.. but i am afraid of too much white and NYC:stongue:
