| But I need most practice in which direction to go. Is there a proper way? I did one half first then the other half |

It depends what you're going for, but to start simple/traditional - you roll them under, placing the curlers horizontally. Start by sectioning hair horizontally and work up from the nape of your neck. Work to wherever your part is, leaving enough hair on the top of your head for the width of the rollers, and roll those ones backward/away from your face, towards the crown.
If you want like loose beachy waves, then you would roll them vertically, towards the back/away from the face.
I hope that makes sense, lol. I'll try to draw an MS paint pic. |

Lolol k, this is for regular curls:

And this is for more spirally curls, will give you that more "beachy" look:

Arrows denote which direction to roll the hair. With the beachy one, you don't have to roll them evenly/symmetrically towards the middle of your head - that will depend on how your hair grows naturally.
Mine tends to grow towards the right more, so I work with the flow of my natural hair. :) |

| Good start though! Do like I said and section your hair, working up from the nape of your neck. Just divide a row with a comb and throw the rest up in a clip or elastic. :D |

yeah.. I basically free balled it. I randomly grabbed a section of hair.
I am still a noob. More time to play.
I ran my hand through it so it got messy haha

| Yeah it only takes a couple times to get pro. Super easy though once you get the hang of it. The only bummer is that you have to wait to use the rollers if you want all one size. You can actually contact the company though and get "replacement" rollers. I'm thinking of doing that and just getting a bunch more of each size. |

But what also sucks is that they kinda formed the outline rows to fit certain sizes. |

| Yeah, but you could still probably cram most of the mid sized ones in there. Defo the small ones. |
