oh man, that would be so COOL. Then you can tell everyone the story about how you hurled some spineless insults at a random transgender woman on a trance messageboard that you've been on for eight years.

Rad!

I know you will take offense to this too, but you truly remind me of all the young twinks I knew when I was hangin' around the queens. They put so much time and effort into being gay that they left little time to be themselves. It was as though their homosexuality was all they had that defined them; even if they didn't want to be the 'cutesy little twink boi' they felt compelled to do so, and while using 'queer' 'fag' etc as terms of endearment they'd condemn the 'outsiders' for using such hurtful words.

Thankfully a lot of them grew up and out of that. I hope you do too.

Well you make the error of assuming that the occasional time I spend talking about this with you here is representative of the rest of my life. That's simply not true, because in my 'real life', I cut out the haters and disrespectful people. And I have actual outlets for direct action through LGBT community centers.

I work about 60 hours a week as the lead graphic designer for a both a (well-funded) internet startup company and a graphic design studio, as well as constantly attending to freelance work. I graduated at the top of my class from one of the most difficult programs at an ivy league school, which I funded through scholarships and work, but after doing that dropped it as a career after deciding I would be happier doing something else with my life. I have a wonderful family and a girlfriend of three years. I'm a serious record collector obsessed with music and making it. I have a ton of personal art projects I've worked on over the years, I love gourmet cooking, film, and hanging out with my friends. And yes, I'm living the life I've wanted to live since I was young, and yes, my transition is part of it. These are the things that define me.

I know that I shouldn't point all this out, and I'll get trashed for it, but seriously, please refrain from making holier-than-thou assumptions about the way I define myself, simply because I call you out once for using a not-so-nice word that you should honestly know better than to use.

Do hormones reduce it somehow or does it need to be excised? It's basically just a mechanism for elongating the larynx, yeah?

Damned koalas.

You are such a try hard.

I, too, have been the target of Miss Pie's bullying, nefardec. Don't take her to heart!
Banora
Yeah, Jenny called me fat! So, I ate some cake and cried. :(
Halcyon+On+On
Shut up, fatty. Your tears taste like doritos, and got caught on your neck folds long enough to become crunchy, so it's not like it wasn't a win in the end.
Banora
Like I'd eat doritos. Cheese Puffs all the way. :o
Silky Johnson
You both may have been picked on, BUT NOBODY'S EVER BEEN PICKED ON THE WAY AVANA HAS. MY CAUSE, MY AWARENESS.

it gets lopped off. chrondrolaryngoplasty. but the increase in fatty tissue generally helps a lot with odds and angles.

I'm actually annoyed that a thread that is supposed to be about hair, make-up, fashion, and vaginas is now ANOTHER ing argument about ing trannies. Thanks a lot, Avana.
Banora
Speaking of, my vagina hurts. ing period.
