:eyes: JP that is a fantastic dress. Looks gorgeous on you.
Where did you get it?
Also, are you wearing any jewelery/accessories with it? (pics plz =) ) |

I got it at a store called Melanie Lyne. I don't have jewelery yet (aside from my watch), but I was thinking some costume pearls or diamonds...a nice chunky bracelet and simple earrings.
Since the dress and shoes have sort of a 50s kinda style I was thinking I would do something kinda retro with my hair, too. Big soft curls, a bit of wave in the front, off my face kinda thing. Or pull it all back loosely into a classic chignon. |

I hate Katherine Heigl, but this is what I'd be going for. Would be the easiest thing for me to do, at any rate:

I really like that store. I shop there regularly. I would've been all over that dress had I seen it. =P
I was gonna suggest the chunky bracelet. A red one would work.
I'd go for the simple diamond earrings. Don't think you need to wear a necklace at all.
What do you think of this chignon?

Yeah def not wearing a necklace. And yeah I like that chignon, just not the bangs. I would have to add more volume to the front of my hair and maybe a bit of a wave through the bangs and then put it off my face. I have an image of it in my mind, but I can't think of someone specific I've seen the look on.
I'm not gonna think too much about it, cause I have a hair appointment next week and this all depends on if she cuts it or not. :p |

Obviously there is no need for size 5 womens. |
Yeah if I'm lucky there's some 5-1/2 around which will fit and hopefully not float around. I have found older, vintage is sometimes the easier alternative for smaller sizes as some point in history they thought making them was worthwhile :/ |

But that is something I would have to do in person. I haven't tried it yet. |

Sounds like we're both the same, small, hard to fit pain in the ass size. Forna, Coach, Guess and BC Girls are about the only ones in the mid-price market that seem to make the 5's in any kind of range that actually look good. Only problem I've had with online stores is that sometimes they have a slightly different idea of what is a 5-6 size and don't like being harassed for specifics. :(
Course, if you do end up in Singapore, Hong Kong or Thailand for a while, buy a 2nd suitcase and fill it full of shoes, because there's lots there! :gsmile: |
