mounting ftw

here's a tv pat did for a client. he built that brick background too. and then the thing underneath it can hold whatever you need it to (dvd player, xbox, etc...) and you dont have to see any of it or the wiring. that's how i want our to look when we finally move and can do whatever we want to the place.

and this sectional

Please don't ruin your house with that sectional.

Yeah, that kind of set-up is ideal. We can't do that in this place though, cause of the fireplace.

edit: and I love that brick.
squirrelly
we are mounting our tv - I don't like just setting it in the middle of a wall unit.

lol bas what's wrong with that sectional? I like it! Minus that ugly thing in the middle
Silky Johnson
Really not a fan of that sectional either. I hate that two tone/two fabric look. I keep seeing that everywhere and think it's awful!
squirrelly
bahaha we'll see what we actually come home with. I like the two tone? The one we really like is like 3K and I won't spend that.
Silky Johnson
I think 3 K is completely reasonable/appropriate for a large piece of furniture like that, if it's well made.

If you want quality furniture, don't expect to get it for under 2K.

Make sure whatever you buy is made with a solid hardwood frame and NO particle board/fibreboard/whatever. Also look for ummm...I think it's called hand tied springs??

Here just look at this, lol.

:stongue:

i have a pair of guess jeans from grade 12 that have a HUGE hole on the ass, but I refuse to throw them away because they are my favourite jeans ever. I still wear them with long sweaters and jackets :toothless

Our main concern is how tall the couch is. Need to make sure it's at a good bend-over height. :o
