| it's ~ 615 miles between NY and detroit. i'm going to calculate about 230 miles per tank. we're looking at 5 fillups and divide that by $400? depends on how much gas is up north. :conf: |

have you tried to take your car straight 320 miles? :D the paper says 340 miles per tank, but i have taken my car to 280-285 per tank. it depends on a number of factors too. |

going back a few pages, i just bought katy perry's nail polish for my cousins birthday. Has anyone tried the OPI black shatter? I'm not allowed to wear nail polish at work, if i could i would totally be rocking it.

yeah, i've driven all over the country in my 4runner :p i routinely get around 320 miles per tank in the city, but have gotten up to 340-345 on the highway. my other vehicle's an expedition with a double tank, but it's been side-lined due to it costing > $110 to fill up :wtf: |

nice. i think i need to take a look at my tires to help with acceleration, and stop picking up hitchhikers and dead bodies on my road trips. less weight on car = better milage. :p
i do like the jeep cherokees. i remember going about 350-360 miles per tank a couple of years ago. |

| If its a road trip with friends that you don't mind spending 16 hrs driving with... I'd be more inclined to fly but thats just me. I'd think you should be able find a flight for 200-250 |

It's between 9-11 hours from people who went last year. (11 for friends who got lost in Jersey lol) Google maps say 10h and 1 min and google maps used to say tampa from miami was a lil over 4 and that is def 30 mins more than it should be
Also, try finding flights for under 300$ when gas is sky high? Umm nope. The one hour lfight to detroit is not worth 250. |
