What the are you on about, Mary Poppins? I have zero problems with his music. It's the fact that he acts like a tremendous douchebag that's insulting. The way you conduct yourself as a human being is far more important than talent, in my eyes.
You really are an idiot. |

she's lovely and the first black ms america but each of her parents were half if i remember correctly so she's just as much black as she is white. of the women posted i think tyra banks is the only one who is actually "fully" black, well as fully black as an african american can be i guess. maybe stacey dash too. |
I was going to say something but I've already said too much. Black friend of mine said you point out stuff like this to a white person they get all angry and defensive.
Truthfully the only supermodel I can think who looks black and doesn't iron her hair is Grace Jones. |

| all models do stuff with their hair, regardless of race. also there are plenty of examples of models who are just regular pretty without having such harsh looks as grace jones. one of my favorites is kiara kabukuru who did cove girl ads but i'm biased because she's east african. also i wouldn't point the finger at any one group of people, because within groups of blacks there is thought that lighter with "good hair" is close to the ideal. |

Let me put it this way how many black models don't straighten their hair and/or have a dark complexion? |

| dark skinned models are booked, seems like many have their token but better to have one than none. i would hope more are booked in the future but progression is good. as for hair, why does that matter? many black women in general don't keep their hair completely natural regardless of their occupations. |

IGK the white dude thinks they are Uncle Tomming it because they fail to meet his standard of what "black" should look like.
Or he is just trolling. |

| i sorta get what he's saying i just don't think having straight hair means you want to be less black, it's easier to manage for some styles when it's straight. now if we were talking skin bleaching that's another story entirely! |

More blonde today at the salon. I figure by the fall I won't have any red in it at all. At least that's what I'm hoping.

| looks good, so you are going lighter for the fall/winter? |

| Nah, just phasing out the red altogether. I don't actually want light blonde hair, but for her to be able to tone it the color I eventually want, we have to start with this. |
