yeah i'm in the same boat.. i've been growing my hair out this last year so i've only been in twice to get it trimmed and thinned out.. i have the opposite problem, i ask my hairdresser not to take much off, just the ends and thin it and she always takes too much off and i tell her "LEAVE MY BANGS ALONE" because they've been such a bitch to grow out and she sneaks in there and trims them up anyway..:mad: sounds like you've got a better hairdresser. |

Hahaha, well she doesn't win awards for nothin! She's really good at giving her clients what they want, yet also being realistic with them about what their hair can and can't do. She's really patient and would rather wait till she knows she can do the right thing than just do something for the sake of doing it. Like when I went blonde, and with my hair cuts. Most other hairdressers would have just bleached all of my hair, whereas my hairdresser sampled first with my under hair to see how the lightener would react - and then slowly highlighted blonde in and toned it. She's all about preserving the hair integrity and thinking about future hair goals. It should be common sense, but it isn't.
Anyway, here's ma hurr. :D

| looks good!! i can't wait until i grow out alot of these awkward layers that i swear my hairdresser keeps cutting back in..:mad: i would go see someone else, but i'm sure it's not too hard to believe that it is hard to find a good stylist in this town and it could be alot worse! i like the colour too! |

why does the band differ in width, mel? the bottom pic looks like a knitted crown for royalty, lol. is that how female headbands are? |
