The hot roller situation - maybe in Miami it would suck with the humidity but I am sure in the winter (and not so windy days) it may work. My hair is just fairly straight and I hope the curls can stay up for longer than 2 hours. I'm not really a hairspray kinda girl.
Unless anyone knows one of those good hairsprays that leave your hair flexible - not stuck!

The best thing when setting your hair is to do it when it's not totally clean. I always wash my hair the night before and sleep on it after I put a little bit of product in it. Then when I actually roll it I spray each section of hair before rolling, and again after I take the rollers out.
Quality products are defintely key. I only use stuff from the salon. I love my hairspray...it's L'Oreal professional grade stuff. Amazing hold + flexibility and not sticky at all. And it smells so effing good!
Also, dry shampoo so it doesn't look oily. Love that .

I saw a woman walking around Colorado Springs a few days ago wearing knee-high boots with what must have been 3-inch heels. It wasn't so much a walk as it was a painful sidle however - she looked like a duck trying to hold a car battery between its knees. Ducks have knees, right?
Moral of the story is that boots can be awesome, but you risk looking far worse than you would've if you'd instead opted for Lira's chucks. Unless... are we actually mis-typing boobs? Yes, boobs look nice with anything, though much better with nothing.

Got my rollers - Hot rolled my hair with the bigger ones since my hair is long and it lasted like 30 mins.

Ah yeah I was actually thinking about you and the rollers last night as I was falling asleep, lol.
Yeah hairspray is definitely key. Do it like I said - spray each section of hair before you roll it, and again after you take the rollers out. Once more after you've styled it. Also good to put mousse or gel or something of the like in first.
Also, the bigger rollers are for loose waves - so not surprising the set didn't stay. If you want it to be curlier/wavier longer I would suggest using the mid sized ones.
What I do is use the smallest ones all around my hair line - so at the nape of the neck, and all around my face + bangs, plus the row of hair on top of my head. Then I use the mid sized ones for the rest.
Can't wait for my hair to be long enough to get the right effect with the big ones though. :D

Yeah. The big ones didnt look that big but made very sexy curls. I liked. I will try the middle ones. I am so bored I might play with them tonight. Practice makes perfect:) but I was really excited how they came out :)
