Yeah I generally keep mine shorter. I just think they look neater, and it's more sanitary.

i can't stand fingernails either. i always cut mine about once a week... and i never use nail polish on them (only once in a while will i get the urge and then i immediately regret it because i just end up picking at it).

I wish I could have longish fingernails (not holy crap long, but longer than what I have), except my nails are super brittle and crack/flake/break so easily if I don't keep them short.

oh i definitely dont mind a little color and/or nail art on my nails but i keep them super short. i dont like ANY white part showing. same with my toe nails. i see chicks at the salon getting pedicures next to me and their big toenail is long as and they're like "no dont cut it" and i'm thinking "ew".
short and clean and sometimes with color, but 80% of the time i get a fleshy/peach/pink color on my nails when i get them done.

Get some Kelp tablets, very good for strong nails and hair.
I've kept mine short since leaving high school, they used to just get in the way all the time. Could probably grow them out a bit and not really affect my life one way or another, force of habit I guess.

i have longish fingernails, always have and always will. i never use nail polish because i don't see a point, they look much better natural. i shape and buff them though. don't like fake nails and never had them...overall though i literally couldn't type without nails or do many other things, it would feel too weird. my nails are really strong so it's not like i'm some psycho who won't do stuff because i could break a nail.
as for my toesnails, very short don't see a point in long toenails. kind of creepy actually.

I got a pair of hot ass boots on the weekend. On SALE for 279.00, lol.
They're L.A.M.B. (Gwen Stefani's line, if ya dunno). My mistake was trying them on before looking at the price, lol. I couldn't NOT get them. The leather is so soft! They really are well made though...I know because the soles are leather as well - which is always an indicator of a really well made shoe.
