I couldn't live without my crackberry, that is for sure :D

I have been with Rogers for several years now and have had no complaints about their celluar service or packages.

After towing the CDMA line for some time and preaching the gospel of Bell Mobility - I think I may have finally given in and realized that GPRS/EDGE is the way to go.

Perhaps it's Bell's/Telus's lack of market leadership in rolling out innovative devices and features that has led me to this position - however I can now honestly say that none of the CDMA providers inspire me with their service/offerings.

After playing with (not purchasing) a Nokia 3220 (http://82.208.4.102/kasaimg/foto/fo...hite-blue_0.jpg) for the last few days - Rogers is the way to go (IMO). Awesome handsets, uber-features and relatively competative pricing plans will make Rogers my next choice in service provider (unless Bell somehow re-invents the wheel, which I doubt).

After being a high-usage ($3k+ per annum) corporate Bell Mobility customer for 7 years this is a bit an epiphanal moment. ;)

SymbianOS is the future in devices (IMO) offering near real network IP connectivity for mobile devices.

Once Nokia rolls out the 6682 (http://www.nokiausa.com/phones/6682...,feat:1,00.html) I'm picking that bad boy up and moving to Rogers.

u make it seem so complicated..... bell phones often dont work indoors while my telus old school 1997 model gets calls in the subway sometimes

Yeah, Canada definitely need some foreign competitors!

Would probably solve some of these problems:
-Coverage is pretty crappy unless you are in cities, but even in stratford i have bad reception, and that is still 30 000 ppl so there should be good reception there imo.
-Paying for incomming calls sucks sooo badly, i mean, why should i pay for someone else calling me, that is just wrong!
-Canada currently have no 3G network.
-Expireing minutes @ pay as you go suck (perhaps its the same thing if you have a plan?)

Im done for now :D

I have had no reception problems with my red Bell Nokia - and it even works on P2 parking in my office parking garage.

Bell's reception isn't an issue for me. Bell just isn't a good option for the early-adopter set - which is why I'm now disinterested in Bell.

I added VOIP (which included WVOIP) to the topics of discussion.

btw bigUPS to the peeps over at howardforums.com for helping push thru LNP in Canada. Those guys have been advocating it for a while and managed to mobilize a large number of their users to continuously write to their MPs which definately imho helped to swap government opinion on this issue.
