the germans always played physical, its not new, and they do get carded.
but dirty is not the good word to use.
dirty is when you dive and fake injury.
when you touch the ball in the box hoping that the ref would not see it.

The Germans had less than a minute to equalise, which means they had to throw everybody up the field.
The Gerries lost a step in the 2nd extra time and I feel sorry for them because they played well unexpectedly all tournament. Plus they are one of the more honest teams lately without all the theatrics and swan diving. But Italy (who were still up to their diving ways) were very impressive today when they weren't rolling around like they'd been shot. I still think France is the team to beat. |
