"Pointless"..haha, another one who likes to talk out of his ass. one of the reasons for these clips is to show that this animal has a history of being a complete utter piece of crap on the field.
As a sports follower, i am in no way surprised his punk ass was involved in this controversy.. im not making excuses for zidane, he could have reacted better but that is easy to say sitting from here..god knows what that idiot said to zidane. the point of those videos is to show that materazzi has a history of being a cheater and an animal who MOST likely provoked zidane on purpose knowing that zidane himself is a hot head at times. "you have NO ING CLUE WHAT HE SAID".. of course we dont but given the illustrated history of this guy's attitutde on the field, we can get a pretty good idea. We are ing ridiculous? these videos reflecting French supporters being sore losers. Italians won in PKs, it could have gone either way. Italians won, good on them. The discussion is about the headbutt not who won. |

What discussion is there? guyA says something to guyB, guyB headbutts him. Both are equally at fault.
Oh, also, I forgot to mention: guyA is apparently a very dirty player while guyB has no history of violence on the field AT ALL. This, of course, greatly changes what actually happened there on Sunday. |

I'm not arguing that it isn't sad that a hero such a Zidane acted the way he did. Things may have been different if he had remained cool but sadly, he didnt. my argument here is that there is historical evidence that materazzi is a savage and most likely provoked zidane, who in return acted badly.
PS.
In any case, did Zidane really cost hist nation their glory? blah.. Trez was going to kick anyways and Barthez wasn't going to save anything..

So the expulsion happened a few minutes before PK's. That is a weak case for saying he costed his nation the game. Zidane was already tired, injured and Italy was already playing for peanlties. I think it is save to say the game's faith was decided with or without Zidane but too bad he had to act that way because we will never know. In a perfect world I agree with you, Zidane shouldn't have acted that way but guess what, he is no God, he isn't perfect and Materazzi most likely took advantage of that. |
