seriously...
you guys really need to start paying attention at the plays instead of only the finalizations... Fred was the one that received the pass, lost it, retrieved it with a nice lil high pass to robinho who almost scored with a perfect angle and Fred was tehre to finish the job.
Alot of skill involved... yet not one seems to realize it.
btw, Fred is shortform for Frederico. Brazil uses alot of nicknames (ie, Kaka, Ronaldinho, Robinho, Pele etc...) istead of last or first names in the back of their shirts. |

anyone see spain's game today? man that fabregas was so impressive!!!:eyes: practically won them the game..it was hit shot that rebounded off the keepr that raul put in n it was his pass to torres for the second.
i didnt think he would get a lot of game play coz c'mon...spains got one of the best midfields...xavi,garcia,alonso,reyes,joaquin,iniesta etc.
this boy has got tons n tons of talent...and Wenger has fine tuned him to be better and consistent...hard to believe he's only 19!!!! |

Yes this whole nickname thing created a lot of confusion for me a while back (when i thought Ronaldinho's last name was actually Ronaldinho hahaha)!:tongue2
Now what i want to know is how come the Brasilians have nicknames on their shirts but the rest of the world has their last names :conf: |

ronaldinho's full name is Ronaldo De Assis Moreira...he's called ronaldinho coz that means little ronaldo..for obvious reasons.
Ronaldo uses his last name...his full name is Luiz Nazario de Lima Ronaldo...
as for the nicknames...im not sure why but as a guess i think its coz they've got multiple names so last names are kinda hard to settle on. |
