OK. So it may have been to judgemental. But c'mon..Zidane? Do that? I would have never ever thought he woul do something like that, and they even said he has heard everything in the book being around so long. SO whyyy end it like this? Knowing that you won't be playing again, and this being that last thing people will remember you for.
Or maybe thats why he did it.
Still, I have alot of respect for him, always have and always will, but doing this was sad to see. |

I may be Portuguese, but my comments are totally unbiased...because everyone knows that I was rooting for England and Italy since the beginning. I had stated in past games that Portugal had played poorly...and I even expected them to lose the France game....Stop making bold statements about Portuguese people...cause I just proved you wrong. |

As for the suggestion that one player antagonized the other...let's not get into the semantics. Zidane handled it wrong....and that's all that there is to it.
Reality Check:
Italian's would have preferred to have won it without the Penalty shots too because they are proud people and they celebrate the win, not because they want to get in your face...but because it has always been a custom in Italy to celebrate a win. They take their flags and raise it high because they support their Italian players proudly.
In my eyes...there is absolutely nothing wrong with supporting your team. |

But youre blaming that he dived on a justified call that you, and all my other portugese friends have been complaining about since it happened. You havent proven , other than blaming unfair refering on a call that seemingly isnt being disputed by anyone but the Portugese. |
