Truthfully, in my heart I was rooting for Zidane and France. However, I placed this longshot soccer bet on June 23rd. and en Portugal surprised everyone by getting this far. So I had money invested on the Portugal team already even though I didn't real like them...
I started getting very excited about me collecting $1150 on Sunday from a $50 bet placed such a long time ago.:whip:
Just booked my bet for Italy to win for Sunday's game even though the odds payout suck because they are the favorite.;) |

umm...i won't even bother. Henry was certainly fouled. He took a kick to the leg quite clearly and if he had not been touched, he would have walked in and scored anyway because Henry doesn't miss those chances. The game was called quite well and I'm glad that the Uruguayan referee did not cave in to Portugal's continuned acting. Figo and Ronaldo had at least 10 dives between them.
Overall, a crap game and Figo had a gift to equalise late on that header. But since he shouldn't be playing anyway because of the headbutt, it's quite fitting he bullocksed it up. |

Anyhow, no I did not get to watch the game cuz I was at work, but The Score was doing a great job with the updates, minute by minute :)
And the first thing I did as soon as the game was over and well after the first goal was scored was I ran over to Joe's desk at work and said, "Portugal is goin down", then I called my ex (who is Portuguese and these were all the ppl that were calling and msg'ing me when I lost) and said.. "guess what? you are losing" :p
Then once the game was over I was able to walk around the office with a big smile singing.."na na na na.. hey hey, goodbye" :toothless
sorry guys, but I have been waiting anxiously to type this and now is my moment, so I wll apologize to all the Portugal fans now for being evil today :p
