I was rooting for Croatia to win too, just because of Australia's terrible behaviour. And yes the last 20 mins got a little intense.
Great game by Brazil but the last 20 mins got a little too boring for my likings so i was flipping back and forth between games. It was nice to see that Brazil still has it, and maybe now they'll finally realize that that's how they have to start playing if they don't wanna go home. :)

i luv this guy! i think he's one of the most talented players out there and Brazil is making a big mistake keeping him on the bench. ok i know they have ronaldinho and kaka in the middle already, but you just simply can't have someone like juninho warming up the bench. he's brazil's best in set pieces and can score from pretty much anywhere. and i said this before and i will say it again, as much as I think Kaka is gifted, Juninho > Kaka imo! i know many of you will argue this but if you watched Lyon over the past couple of years, you'll know what I'm talking about. |

Juninho didn't play the first two games. Can you honestly tell me Kaka was better than Juninho in the last game??? Juninho was the best player on that field yesterday. He deserves more than just warming up the bench in case something happens to Ronaldinho or Kaka. But again, it's a tough choice to make cuz you can't really put the guy on the wing and you can't do much b/c Brazil already has a certain formation. It's just sad to see a player on the bench of his calibre, where on any other team he'd be a starting center midfielder.

and who said Kaka was the best player for them for past 3 games?? 1st game yes, second game no way he missed so many close chances and didn't come back at all. last game he was good but not as good as juninho. don't listen to the media too much. they also said serbia has the best defence. well turned out they had the worst of this world cup thus far. when in qualifying teams like andorra or faroe islands can't score on you, it doesn't mean you have the best defence. as much as i hate italians, how can you even compare serbia's defence to italian and say that serbian is the best in the world. that's just retarded! |

i hope to see fireworks in atleast one of those matches! france have finally woken up...although they played against the weakest team in the group today..and spain are passing the ball really well!
as for the other game theres so much history there too...the qualfiers from the 2002 world cup and Portugal 2004's semi-final against the hosts..hmmm!
the brazil vs ghana game should throw up a few surprises i'd imagine. |
