Well then go me. I think it is the dumbest thing he could have done. Like I said I love Zidane, one of the best players I've seen, and my fav player I like watching besides Klose, But for him to do that, obviously im going to judge by what I saw on TV, it's not like im goint to see him in person or anything, esp. now that he retired. No he wasn't going to tell the ref, but who the hell head butts?? I don't lkike Materazzi, and ya, good for him he got hit for something dirty he probably said. |

Well i for one am completely behind him. It was time someone did something like that and i applaud him for taking the matter into his own hands, considering it's not like he's going to get banned from FIFA for it lol. All the more power to him i say. I would've stabbed the guy but then again, that's just me. :D |

yes! unfortunately, all is what he should have done. he's been around long enough to know that a headbutt like that would get him thrown off. at least a tackle that would have got him only a yellow would have been just as effective. (i'm not sure if he had any prior yellows) |

Makes no difference.
First off: He's not going to tackle someone for something they said 15 minutes ago (because it would probably take that long for him to have the opportunity to tackle).
Second: Tackle huh? He would have to make sure he made a nice proper "yellow card" tackle, because you do know that certain tackles get you a red card anyway, right?
Third: I hate to sound like a pessimist but France would've lost regardless lol And he would have gotten no joy out of seeing that little rat get the medal.
