Atleast the French accepted their loss as Good Sportsmen...I think some of you should learn to do the same. |

Why what did you expect them to do? Start flipping cars and setting buildings on fire? Do you honestly think that the French never called Italian divers? Do you think Zidane headbudded Materazzi just for fun?

According to French press:
Materazzi was holding Zidane near the penalty box. Referee did not call a foul and Italians have intercepted the ball and began counter attack. Zidane and Materazzi were walking towards the French half, talking. Suddenly Zidane changes facial expressions, turns around and rams the italian player in the chest. Materazzi falls and a red card is shown by the ref after consulting with the linesman.
Obviously the conversation between Zidane and Materazzi must have carried some some sort of insult. Naturally, the two participants have not yet commented on the incident. No side line microphones could catch the conversation, however we have found one person who claims they have heard the conversation. Juventus player David Trezeguet claims he was nearby and heard the entire conversation.
This is the dialogue between the players that occured in Italian
Zidane: hands, watch your hands.
Materazzi: you're delusional.
Zidane: thats the only way you can stop me. Thats ok, we will win by shootouts, then you will find a better use for your hands.
Materazzi: dream on, in one hour, your mom will suck me off, the world champion.
Conversation ended there followed by a headbutt.
